Miral Shah – currently a student at VVP Engineering College pursuing Computer Engineering (C.E.) and successfully became half of an engineer, or that is to say completed two years here and now heading to the final years of the 4 most beautiful and experience filled years with new lessons every day!
Yes, you heard it right, it’s VVPEC – Vyavasayi Vidya Pratishthan Engineering College. Being a self-financed and GTU affiliated college, starting from scratch in 1996, you surely can see how far we have come in these 21 years. This is one of the greenest campus located in the Rajkot city.
10 different fields to study in, 20 years and counting more of success and campus spread across 30 acres with greenery and spacious buildings, it shouldn’t be hard to assume 40 stars we add to the city – Rajkot. The college tops the GTU colleges when it comes to academics and with EC department having the greatest result.

Coming to the core of our college, with a vast library as an ocean of knowledge, we do have a great opportunity for the fellow pals to move forward their career with sports. Not only training us, we do also win at the inter-college level and against colleges across the state.
And now for the techno-geeks, there’s also an event organized for them and for other likes spread across the city and state – the Vedanta Techfest. The recent Vedanta Techfest comprised of Beg-Borrow-Steal, Encode, Pseudo flow, Treasure Hunt, Elite, IPL Auction and various innovative challenges designed and prepared solely by us, the students. This was arranged by Computer Engineers, and same events are organized by other departments which eventually shows the creativity spread across the campus.
Since the city is known as Rangeelu Rajkot, the same is with the college. Competitions are held amidst departments for Garba, the most colorful and native festival of the state under the name Rasotsav.7
And not to forget the national days, the patriotic days of our glorious nation, there hasn’t been a year without Republic Day and Independence Day celebration. Speeches are delivered, performances are performed, dramas are acted out, and songs are sung with full enthusiasm.
For the complete engineers, or to say the graduates, their last days are made their most memorable days! Every year, Farewells + DJ + Dinner with different themes, it’s not their last day to enjoy their life ahead, but their first day into the new phase of life with all the memories they can share with each other and everyone.
Blood donations camps to help all the needy ones, Scholarships for us and to better our performances in academics in the coming years, Ray Film Commune to watch legit movies and discuss later on it related to the particular field and possible developments, the campus is not a piece of clay but a vast area of opportunity to develop oneself and to develop together.
